Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Northfield Township, County of Rice, State of Minnesota that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday, March 16, 2021, and in case of inclement weather on March 16, the meeting and election may be postponed further until Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

The annual election will be held at the town hall: 10901 Jacobs Avenue, Northfield, Minnesota. Social distancing and mask protocols will be followed by election officials and voters. Election poll hours will be open from 2:00-8:00 pm, at which time the voters will elect:

One Supervisor for a three-year term and One Treasurer for a two-year term.

The Board of Canvass will meet on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 8:00 pm at the town hall to certify the official election results.

The Annual Meeting will beheld at the town hall facility following the election and will commence at 8:15 pm to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law. Social distancing and mask protocols will be followed at the meeting.

The regular March meeting has been re-scheduled for Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 7:00 pm to be held at the town hall.
